My Script is giving me "Error 404, Document not found"?
For best search engine optimization results the script uses the Url rewrite module which is also known as "mod_rewrite". If it is enabled in your webhosting then the script will work without any problem but if it is not available in your hosting then the Url rewrite feature will not work and script will not run. How do I find my eBay Token?

  • The first step is to create your developer credentials. Execute the following steps: Go to eBay's developer site and join the developer program. When you fill out the form, eBay will send you a confirmation email that includes a confirmation code. Check your email and follow the instructions to use that code to generate your application keys. In order to make requests, you will have to use an eBay account, but when you are creating your application you will actually be working against the "sandbox," a test version of the database. Create a sandbox test account for these requests. (Once your application is complete and you are making requests against the production database, you'll use your "real" eBay account.)
  • Next, get access to the eBay Production environment by filling out the self-certification form. Once you submit this form, you'll receive an email from This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it that contains instructions on retrieving your production keys. Once you've retrieved them, save the keys in a text file. You'll use them in the next section when you retrieve your authentication token.
  • Now Your get an authentication token for your eBay user ID (If you don't have an eBay user ID, sign up for eBay first). Load the Authentication Token Tool. On the first page of the tool, select "Production" for the environment, click the checkbox to include the REST token, and in the three fields enter the production keys you retrieved earlier. A common error at this stage is to select the wrong environment or enter the wrong set of keys, so double check this if you get an error retrieving the token later on. Make sure you select the Production environment and enter your Production keys. The completed form should look something like screen.
